It's gotten better over the years, since he started, but that places comes off as a restaurant...only a few should make a career out of it. Lol knot sawing isn't that easy, you're on your feet all the time (sounds easy, but after years of it, it takes a major toll on you), boards kick back and knock the hell out of you, dust gets pretty bad etc. I wouldn't suggest it to anyone longer than a few years if that, not even the "easy" jobs.
we have a 63 year old woman that knot saws, you telling me it aint easy and you have never done it. its easy as ****. if a 63 year old woman does it, any man can do it. why are you arguing over something you dont know about man. haha the LOL knot sawying isnt easy was the best. why argue over something you havent done before? boards kick back..... on the knot saws??? the boards have nothing to kick back on the knot saws man, they come down a belt. there used to be a temple system set up but thats been gone for YEARS. no boards can kick back on the knot saws. dont get me wrong i hate working there because i had the chance to be somewhere else, but dont talk down about the place if you have no experience at all there.
Cant we all just get along?

He quit 2 years ago to go to the mines, that system isn't that old. I've been around that place since I was 7, I've seen about how everything works there many, many times. Boards kicked back all the time. It's not like I don't have a clue what goes on there or how things worked, heard and seen enough of that place since I was little to make me sick. It's gotten better over the years gradually, but the way that place is run, the conditions and everything are ****. Sorry, but that's how I feel about it, it's a hellhole - there's a couple family members that will tell you the same thing.

you have been in there and seen it run and they let you come in when you was 7? and what system are you talking about, there is no temple system in there, hell its been gone for at least 7 years. the wood comes down belts to the sawyers now, they pick em up off a table. if your father quit 2 years ago and worked on the mainline then he knows me. May even know me if he was on the specialty line. ask him if he knows justin swiney, hell i dont care to give my name. tell him i said congratulations on actually getting out of there as well most people cant do it after they have time invested. really about the only thing that i or anyone else that works there would agree with you on is that the way it is run is ****. I remember when rick birchfield left, 2 months before he quit he told us that he never saw himself finding another job, he said that his outlook was good and he wasnt going anywhere, little bit after, poof, he was gone. but yeah everything else about it isnt bad.
Cant we all just get along?
